Alan Miller, M.D. is one of the esteemed presenters at the 2015 Lone Star Blood Cancer Conference. Dr. Miller wears many hats including Director of Charles A. Sammons Cancer Center, the Chief of Oncology for Baylor Health Care System and a professor of internal medicine at Texas A&M College of Medicine. He received both his M.A and Ph.D. from State University of New York, Buffalo and earned his M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL.
Dr. Miller has held positions in some of the country's most esteemed medial facilities including the University of Florida Medical Center, Tulane University, He has been named one of the "Best Doctors in America" six straight years and currently sits on two different Boards, both influential in the development of new treatments for cancers.
Dr. Miller is currently the principle investigator of a Phase 2 Study of Bortezomib for the Treatment of Steroid Refractory Chronic Graft Vs. Host Disease.
