Thankful Thursday: Lady Antebellum

Lady Antebellum, the Grammy-award winning country music trio, have joined with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for a new public service campaign to raise awareness and funds.

All three band members, Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley, and David Haywood, have a strong connection to the LLS mission.  Each has a family member who has been diagnosed with a blood cancer in the last two years.  In this new Public Service Announcement (PSA), Scott talks openly about losing her grandfather to acute myeloid leukemia and his influence on the group.  Having been impacted by cancer recently, they share their hope that blood cancers will be cured in their lifetime.

This Thursday we are thankful that such a well-known group is backing the work of LLS and helping to spread the word.  You will see these PSAs in DFW during the months of November and December.
