Heels and Hills: A Race to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
DFW Powerhouses Team In Training (TNT) & Dallas Athletes Racing have teamed up to end blood cancers!
Sunday, April 26, Keller Bear Creek Park, Keller, TX, Heels & Hills 4 & 8 Miles Runs benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Over the past 10 years, Team in Training has raised over $300,000 through DA Racing events such as Texas Man Triathlon & Wounded Warrior Half Marathon & 10K!
Tom Ryan with Dallas Athletes Racing talked to us about why this partnership is beneficial to both LLS and Dallas Athletes Racing and how you can support the event as either a participant or volunteer.
Why did DAR choose LLS as a beneficiary of the 2015 Heels and Hills race?
After nearly 10-years, our experiences with LLS have been nothing short of five stars!
What does it mean to have LLS as a beneficiary?
It means you have a solid partner. Solid, reliable partners are priceless!
What strikes you about people you have met that are associated with or run with TNT?
They posses two rare qualities: energy and passion. Having the opportunity to be involved with passionate, energized people does not come along everyday.
What kind of TNT/LLS presence would you like to see the day of Heels and Hills?
TNT energy is contagious! Bring it!
What exciting updates do you have for the race this year?
The new Heels and Hills venue is the perfect run course with a scenic view of Keller Bear Creek Park in Keller, TX! In regards to swag, each runner will receive a high fashion ladies mircotech running shirt, Swiss-elite running socks & a one-of-a-kind finishers medal!
How can people get registered?
Go to http://dallasathletesracing.com/package/heels-and-hills/ It is going to be a sellout!
If you would like to volunteer and earn fundraising credit for LLS, please contact Campbell Weber at Campbell.Weber@lls.org or at (972) 996-5914.
