Karen Albritton, M.D. is one of the esteemed presenters at the 2015 Lone Star Blood Cancer Conference. Dr. Albritton is the Medical Director, Adolescent and Young Adult Program, Hematology and Oncology Center at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth, TX.  She received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.  Dr. Albritton also currently serves as an associate professor in the Division of Pediatrics at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX.

Dr. Albritton serves on a number of different professional societies and holds several voluntary positions in the community, including the Chair of the Fort Worth Adolescent and Young Adult Oncology Coalition and a medical advisor to The 15-40 Connection.  She has also been named one of "America's Top Doctors in Cancer" for 8 years and has received the "Patient's Choice Award."
